Dentistry Done Right
The kids in our office call him Dr. Bruce, someone as caring and empathetic with children as he is, trades the formality for friendliness and familiarity. Dr. Sellers received extra Hospital and Pediatric training during and after Dental School. Originally an all-ages, family dentist, his temperament and skill set make Dr. Sellers specially-equipped to accommodate dental care for children and teens. Upon limiting his practice to children, Dr. Sellers established a pilot children’s practice as an employee of a corporate dental firm. Dr. Sellers created tremendous success, resulting in the addition of a youth-centric component to corporately-owned sites across the State of Oregon. Retiring Pediatric Dentist Dr. Jeff Phillips hand-picked Dr. Sellers to succeed him as the owner and sole dentist of his children’s-focused practice in South Salem, certain in the knowledge that Bruce exceeded the needs of his patients and their families.
Our Happy Clients
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sellers and the whole staff. Thanks so much for being so kind and patient with my kids and our family!
Dr. Sellers and the staff are accommodating, compassionate and professional!
This was my daughters first dental visit at 1.5 yrs old and Dr. Sellers and his assistant centered the entire appointment around her and her experience! I appreciate that so much and look forward to having Dr. Sellers as our childrens’ dentist!!!
My kids love coming here! They’re actually disappointed they have to wait so long for their next cleaning. Dr. Sellers and his staff know how to make the dental experience a positive one from your child’s very first appointment.
Our Team
Desert is Heather’s favorite meal, sometimes saying no to the yumminess is impossible! Heather’s bright smile and positive demeanor bring a special light to the office. Outside her work at the office, the mother of 4 and grandmother of 2 volunteers often in her community and coordinates activities within her church. Want to know which desert is Heather’s go to? Make an appointment to solve the mystery.
Kelly is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, but if you ask her brothers, her name is Sissy. Kelly loves her job, because she generally feels energized by interacting every day with children. She lives on a small farm with her family, 2 dogs, 2 cats and several head of cattle & sheep. There’s a certain country just north of England that Kelly has on her bucket list to visit one day…(hint) it rhymes with Wiresand.
You might see Morgan helping your children in the dental chair, or when you enter the lobby as she splits her expertise between being an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and a Patient Care Coordinator. When she’s not providing the utmost care for your young ones, Morgan loves getting outdoors with her own young ones, snowboarding, camping and enjoying what Oregon has to offer with her husband, son & daughter. Next time you’re in the office, ask her which of her cats she loves most right meow, Buddy, Rugger or Remi?
Between skiing and camping with her daughter and husband, Val, who’s originally from North Carolina, keeps up with Tar Heel sports. After a day of working at getting kids to absolutely love coming into the office, Val may be found sipping on a Perrier Mineral Water and enjoying a Twix for desert as she tends to the needs of her Australian Shepard & Bengal Cat. Next time you’re in, you’ll have to ask our wonderful Dental Assistant what Led Zeppelin albums she turns up to 11 when she rocks out on her audio device.
If you’re looking to keep our magnificent Kids Dental Assistant Molly on her toes, you can give her a scare with some “really big bug” talk and calm her down by belting out a little country music or offering her a tasty Twix bar. Molly’s kids both attended South Salem High School and her husband was the Head Swim Coach there for many years, so it only makes sense that they have a loving canine named “Saxon”. Molly hopes to someday cross trips to Italy and Australia off her bucket list, so long as she doesn’t have to endure the nightmare of REALLY BIG BUGS.
Fanny is a multi-tasking superstar and her friendly and cheerful voice is the first one you hear when you call our office. In between helping you with dental treatment planning, insurance, scheduling and financial questions Fanny cares for her 3 daughters. Fanny, her daughters and her husband have 4 dogs and she enjoys a little papercrafting to wind down around the house. She like the TV show Criminal Minds and she’d love to meet Kirsten Vangsness, who portrays Penelope Garcia on that series.
Dr Bruce Sellers holds an undergraduate degree in General Sciences/Pre Dental from Oregon State University as well as a minor in German and a Certificate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. Dr Bruce is a husband, a loving father to 3 wonderful children, fluent in German and always happy to talk to patients about superheroes, the latest movies and television shows.
