General Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for our patients as you seat them for care.
  • Assist Dr Bruce and perform EFDA responsibilities independently as needed.
  • Apply coronal polish and sealant placements.
  • Ensure dental records are accurate, up to date, and secure.
  • Prepare dental tools & materials to be used during procedures.
  • Complete direct sterilization of dental units.
  • Take and understand dental x-rays and radiographs.
  • Educate our patients and patient families about our procedures and postoperative care.
  • Adhere to universal precautions during all procedures.
  • Complete other duties as necessary and assigned.

Desired Education & Certifications:

  • Oregon EFDA Certified 
  • X-Ray (Radiology) Certified
  • Sealant Certified
  • BLS Certified

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Self-motivated and efficient time management.
  • Dedicated to providing compassionate, high-level care..
  • Perseverance and comfort contributing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of and strict adherence of OSHA, CDC, and HIPPA guidelines.
  • Proficient use of digital tools and error-free data entry.
  • Enthusiastic and patient with children.
  • An ability to anticipate in a collaborative medical environment.
  • Positive contributor to a friendly work culture.
